SUMMER League Information

Summer 2022

The Summer League games right after 4th of July and ends August 31st. Players are placed in divisions based on their age and skill level, and each division has its own schedule (see below). In the summer we combine some divisions and allow some players to play in upper divisions if they qualify. All players ages 6 and older must attend a tryout so we can evaluate their skills.

The one time fee for ages 4-8 is $100 for returning players from the Spring and $125 for new players. For ages 9-17, its $125 / $150.  You can register online or in person on Saturdays in May from 11am-3pm at our office on 647 West 207st. Once you are registered, All players are required to attend ALL games and practices.

Instructional Divisions (Rookies, SuperStars, Farms): This group is non-competitive and designed to teach players the basics of baseball while having fun. Kids must bring their own gloves and cleats, bats are optional. All games are at Inwood Hill Park softball fields.

  • Age 4-5: Superstars (Coach Pitch)
    • Games on Saturdays¬† 9am-11am. Practice 1x per week.
  • Age 7-8: Farms (Coach Pitch & Kid Pitch)
    • Games are on Saturdays 11am-1pm. Practice 1x per week.

Competitive Divisions (Minors, Majors, Seniors): Players in this division play games with umpires and scores.

  • Age 7-10: Minors
    • 2 games every weekend: 1 on Saturday & 1 on Sunday (between 9am – 3pm) at Field 6.
  • Age 10-12: Majors
    • 2-3 WEEKDAY games at 5:30, practice at least 1x per week, at Field 6.
  • Age 12-17 Seniors WOOD BAT ONLY
    • 2-3 WEEKDAY games at 5:30, and Saturday mornings, practice at least 1x per week, at Fields 1 & 5
  • GIRLS SOFTBALL ages 9-16
    Girls play once on weekdays (Weds or Thurs at 5:30) and once on weekends (2 – 5pm). Additionally, they may also play at other locations throughout the city and may travel to tournaments. Schedule is subject change.
