Donate to the Ann Helgesen Scholarship
Ann Helgesen, grandmother to Thomas “Tommy” Helgesen recently passed away. Tommy has requested that in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations be made to Inwood Little League to create the Ann Helgesen Scholarship which will help underprivileged kids pay the registration fees for baseball. Tommy was raised by his grandma Ann and he was very close to her. He grew up playing baseball in Inwood along with many friends many of whom spent many hours at Ann’s apartment. Eventually, Tommy spent many years coaching and mentoring Inwood kids as well as serving on the Board of Directors.
