Welcome to Inwood Little League — Where Champions and Friendships Are Made
Inwood Little League offers boys and girls ages 4 to 18 the chance to learn, grow, and have fun through the great game of baseball. Serving over 500 children from Upper Manhattan and the Bronx, our league fosters not just athletic skills but teamwork, discipline, and lifelong friendships.
Our home is Inwood Hill Park, where the sounds of spring mean baseball is in full swing starting in early April. But the fun doesn’t stop there — we offer programs year-round, including summer, fall, and winter leagues that keep our players active and engaged in every season.
Each July, our all-star teams proudly compete in the international Little League tournament, often winning district championships and advancing to the New York State semifinals. Players ages 13 and up also enjoy exciting inter-league matchups with teams across the city.
Founded in 1950, Inwood Little League is the oldest Little League in New York City. We’ve seen our players go on to succeed at every level of the game — including the pros. In fact, one of our proudest alumni is none other than NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
The league is powered by registration fees, with additional support from generous sponsors, grants, and community fundraisers. Best of all, every manager, coach, and league official is a dedicated volunteer, committed to helping our kids succeed on and off the field.
Come be a part of the tradition — and the future — of Inwood Little League.
