2nd ALL STAR TEAM TRYOUTS for players ages 9-12 will be held this Saturday May 18th.
- 10U, 5pm, Field #3, 5pm
- 11U and 12U, 5pm, Field #6.
We are hoping to form three teams: 12U, 11U, and 10U. These teams will play in the Little League Tournament beginning June 24th (Tryouts for Girls Softball and 14u and 16u to be announced soon).
The Little League Tournament is played once per year after the Spring Season is over. The “Little League World Series” shown on ESPN known is the final stage of this tournament. Inwood has participated for many years in multiple age brackets. Its great fun for the all those involved as we represent our league and community. It requires a serious commitment by parents, players, and coaches. Read more information about the tournament here.
Players are chosen by the assigned managers and final team rosters will be announced June 1st. There are no fees to be on the all star teams.
Player Requirements
- Must be between ages 9-12
- Must be an active player in our Spring League
- Must live in the Inwood Little League district OR go to school in the district. (See district map here)
- Must commit to playing games between June 24th and July 10th (may be longer if we win!)
- Games will be on weekdays at 5:30pm and on weekends at any time
- Must be able to travel to other fields in the NYC area (West Side 103st, Downtown WTC, Lower East Side 15st, Riverdale)
- Must commit to weekend practices in May and June
