Spring League

The Spring League starts in early to mid April and ends in late June. Players are placed in divisions based on their age and skill level, and players (8 and up) must attend a tryout before the season to assess their skill level. Each division has its own schedule (see below for details).

Inwood Little League is chartered with Little League International. All kids are insured and all of the coaches are volunteers are vetted via a background check.

You can register online! The fee is a one-time cost between $180–$215 (depending on age and division).

All players are required to attend ALL games and practices.

Leagues and Divisions

Instructional Divisions (Rookies, SuperStars, Farms): This group is non-competitive and designed to teach players the basics of baseball while having fun. Kids must bring their own gloves and cleats, bats are optional. All games are at Inwood Hill Park softball fields.

  • Age 4: Rookies (T-ball)
    • Games are on Saturdays at 11am.
  • Age 5-6: Superstars (T-ball to Coach Pitch)
    • Games are on Saturdays at 11am. Practice 1x per week.
  • Age 7-8: Farms (Coach Pitch to Kid Pitch)
    • Games are on Saturdays at 9am. Practice 1x per week.

Competitive Divisions (Minors, Majors, Juniors, Seniors, and Girls Softball): Players in this division play games with umpires and scores.

  • Age 9-10: Minors
    • 2 games every WEEKEND: 1 on Saturday & 1 on Sunday (between 9am–3pm) at field 6. Practice at least 1x per week.
  • Age 11-12: Majors
    • 2-3 WEEKDAY games at 5:30pm at field 6. Practice at least 1x per week.
  • Age 13-14: Juniors
    • 2-3 WEEKDAY games at 5:30pm and Saturday mornings at fields 1 & 5. Practice at least 1x per week.
  • Age 15-16 Seniors
    • 2-3 WEEKDAY games at 5:30pm and Saturday mornings at Fields 1 & 5. Practice at least 1x per week.
  • GIRLS SOFTBALL ages 9-18
    • Girls have three divisions: 18 & under, 14 & under and 12 & under.
    • They typically play games on the weekends and practice once or twice during the week. Some games are played at other locations throughout the city, and the girls may travel to tournaments.
